Welcome to Devo Connect! As you start to familiarize yourself with our platform, you may notice our leaderboard and see fellow users with special badges associated with their profile. What’s this all about and how can you get in on the action? 

Simply put, the best way to rise up the ranks of Devo Connect is through participation! Starting conversations, asking questions, liking and replying to posts, and even getting your answer marked as the “best answer” all help you earn points in Devo Connect. These points impact how you rank on our leaderboard. The more points you earn, the higher you’ll appear on the leaderboard!

Additionally, your activity on Devo Connect can earn you special badges. We currently offer the following badges based on user activity: 

Badge Name	Badge Description
Knowledge Sharer Badge	The Knowledge Sharer badge is awarded to community members who go out of their way to answer questions, offer tips and tricks, and share their many insights to the larger community.
Conversation Starter Badge	The Conversation Starter badge is awarded to our Devo Connect members who make sure to ask questions, start conversations and get the discussion going.
Problem Solver Badge	The Problem Solver badge is awarded to someone who is always looking to help others reach a solution. They answer questions and answer them well, getting many of their answers marked as the “best answer” in a discussion thread.
Devo Certified User	The Devo Certified User badge is awarded to users who have completed Devo Foundations and Activeboards fundamentals through our Devo Education platform. They have completed the exam and become Devo certified users. Way to go!
Community Founding Member	The Community Founding Member badge is awarded to our original members of Devo Connect. These are some of our first users to join the community and start connecting.
