Q: How is posting in the community different than a support ticket? 

A: Our community is an excellent forum to ask questions, share information, search for tips, and learn more. We encourage you to utilize our community for knowledge advancement and to have conversations with other users about Devo. If you are experiencing problems with the Devo platform, require assistance from a Devo Support Engineer, or have product deployment requests, please open a ticket via the support portal

 

Q: What are the differences between a Question and Conversation post?

A: Post a Question: If you have a question or problem for which you need an answer, this is the best type of post. 

     Post a Conversation: If you are looking to have a discussion around a certain topic, whether related to Devo or not, a conversation post is the best medium to do so.

 

Q: Can I access the community from my mobile device? 

A: Yes, there is a mobile version you can access using your same login and password. 

 

Q: Can I update or change my email address (login) when I update my password?

A: After you login, you can change your email address in your profile page. But please note, you must use your work email in order to use Devo Connect. 

 

Q: Can I update my alternate email address?

A: You can enter a secondary or alternate email address as part of the registration process.

 

Q: If I have any questions or problems with my account, who do I contact?

A: Please contact community@devo.com  if you need technical assistance regarding your Devo Connect account. 

 

Q: How do I set or change my Community notification preferences?

A: After logging into the Community, click your profile picture in the upper right corner. Then select Profile Settings and Email & Notifications.

 

Q: How do I follow a specific topic or post? 

A: Navigate to the top area or specific post that you’d like to follow. Then click “subscribe.”

Q: How do I access advanced search results or filters?

A: Click the magnifying class in the search bar, then click refine search results. 

 

Q: How do I earn points or badges on the community? 

A: Your active engagement will earn you points. As you earn more points, you will be rewarded for your activity with special badges. For more information on how to earn points and badges, please read this article
